Users can upload geolocalised photos of polluted areas, coordinators can take charge of the reports and organise clean-up events, once finished, they close the report by uploading a photo of the cleaned area. The application thus provides a detailed picture of the state and severity of the problem of scattered waste: by gathering information on the extent and location of polluted areas, it facilitates clean-up coordination. The Custodians App is an organised ecosystem for clean-ups: it allows coordinators to manage reports and create clean-up events, to which users can easily register themselves through an integrated coordination system.
At the end of the clean-up operation, the report is closed by uploading a photo of the cleaned area, thus completing the clean-up cycle.
